There is a real lack of covers for all kinds of equipment, tools, garden stuff, etc. This product works great for my "pancake-air-compressor" to keep grease and grime off when not in use. I just wish this company would not restrick their covers to just yard stuff...full size compressors, band saws, tablesaws, drill presses, cutoff saws, AC units would all benifit from this type of cover...you get the idea...Expand your inventory...there is a Big Market out there.. Most of the people I know that are in the need of such covers have to have them made by boat cover guys at great expense. At the very lease... a couple of universal covers would go a long way.

The smoker has long, door-closing handles on it which makes it difficult to find a "smoker cover" that will fit. This one is, of course, too big for the smoker so it droops over the sides. Even so, it does cover the smoker nicely to protect it and I've secured it around the bottom with a bungee cord. The cover itself is a lot better than I expected for the price on Amazon. It appears to be well made with a soft felt backing to give it some heft and density. It should protect my smoker very well. I think this cover is well worth your consideration.

I said cheaper quality), that I suspect it would last for one, maybe two seasons tops in my area. Reno, NV. (Quite windy, snowy, below freezing most evenings for 6 months. 5000 elevation and sun in summer might bake it.) It probably would last longer in a San Diego type climate.
Another reviewer said it would fit the char-broil commercial series BBQ. If you want it to fit like a tight mini skirt, then that review is correct, but then it still leaves it about 18" off the ground for weather to get into the bottom compartment doors.
There is velcrow on both sides of the cover to velcrow snug underneath both side tables or side burners. That is a good feature ! If you hold it up the the sky, you can see many tiny holes in the cover. I believe these to be ventilation holes ???
On mine, the sewing was unraveling one of the seems, but that could be just a slight sewing defect on this cover only.

But the Cover Store was great about an exchange, only I had to pay for return shipping -- they offered to let me keep it, and refund the purchase price, for a $10 fee, which would have been about the same as shipping it back.

It is first of all hard to put on with just one person. Once you have the back in, you have to stretch it to the max to fit the front. When you managed to do that, you realize that it is not really covering the front like the picture shows.
The fabric is great, I have to admit. It is the cut that is wrong. They have all this extra fabric that can't cover anything because the way it is cut! So what you get is a cover that is hard to put on, hard to take off, looks baggy and cheap and only covers the top part of the grill.
Bottom line, if you have a 36 inch, get a much bigger cover, or better yet, buy it somewhere else.
They will refund it, but will still charge for shipping both ways!! In this age of free shipping, free returns, that's a big NO NO.

If you own a Genesis series grill, I strongly advise you NOT to buy this grill. Indeed, the quality of the material is great; the size is perfect. However, there are TWO SIDE VENTS that are crafted in the cover, just above the two side shelves.

These "side vents" are mesh screens that will allow any and all rainwater to flow DIRECTLY onto my/your very nice, very expensive Weber grill.

Amazon had it listed as backordered so I went to my local HD to buy this Weber grill cover. When I open the box I immediately noticed the nice material quality. The next day I went out to pull off the cover and both side tables had large water puddles on them. That's when I found out that when water collects on the side tables, it will drain into the cabinet below the grill. Frustrated, I went to Amazon again and read the reviews on the cover. Several people mentioned a rear vent but none mentioned any side vents. So I purchased the cover from Amazon and waited several weeks for it. I was excited to see on the box pictures that it didn't have side vents. As I pulled the cover out my excitement turned to disappointment that it had side vents and no rear vent. This cover is useless with the side vents.

At this time as it is holding up to repeated wear and tear of taking it off and on well.

I don't know if it would stand up to winters in Michigan, but I don't plan on testing that anyway and it protects well from rain, dust, bird droppings, etc.

It does what it is supposed to do and was inexpensive, so I give it thumbs up.

Pros:
-Well made, thicker grade vinyl with a flannel like backing on the grill side.
-Fitted to my Q200 and stationary stand.
-Small mesh vent on back to allow any leaked propane to escape.
-It says "Weber" on it.

Cons:
-Freaking expensive--you'll probably pay about 2-3 times what a cheaper generic "walmart" job will cost you.

In the end, I ponied up for it because of the (?perceived) better quality product and because I spent a ton of money on the grill and stand...what's $18 bucks compared to a $200 grill and stand?

4/5 stars (-1 star for cost).

Contrary to what one of the reviews says here, it fits perfectly with no shortage at the bottom. I have provided my own photograph at the top of this page that shows the cover on my grill. The elastic at the bottom of the cover allows it to pull tight UNDER the feet of the grill allowing very little chance of rain getting directly on the grill. You're still going to have to put up with the possibility of rust on the grill simply from moisture in the air, but at least it won't be raining on it.

The cover fits tightly but it is a tad short to cover the legs all the way down to their tips with its strong elastic edge. No big deal, the cast iron legs are not in danger of rusting out. I've had mine out on the patio in the Kansas sun for two summers and it has faded to a gray color on top, still black on the bottom, no big deal from my view either. But one little annoyance is that the seams on the fabric (all the way around the top edge when it is on) leak. So in a heavy rain water will drip inside and lead to surface rusting. That kind of defeats the purpose of the cover. This can probably be solved with the use of tent seam sealer.

A previous review helped me in deciding whether or not it would fit my grill. I love it because it's made of a thick heavyweight material, not the cheapo thin plastic ones you get the hardware store. There are two velcro pieces on both sides at the bottom so the cover doesn't blow away. I haven't used it in a big storm yet, but it seems very durable. Anything is better than the draw string that many covers have at the bottom...the ones that you can never tighten because the plastic is so cheap. I also haven't tried throwing it over the grill while the grill is still warm. For the quality and price, you can't be beat this cover.

It works well on my grill that measures 25" deep X 52" long X 47" high. This is the largest size I would want to put it on. It comes down to about 4" off the ground but the corners would be too tight if the grill was any larger.

It is made a very heavy material and constructed well. You are supposed to be able to put it on when the grill is still hot but I have not had the nerve to try it yet.

I bought Mr. Bar-B-Q Platinum Prestige Large Grill Cover as a replacement, and while it doesn't fit as snugly, it works fine with a bungee cord securing it and is worlds more durable.

If you will look at the product picture, it actually shows that does not ( I should have seen that!). Therefore, this cover isn't really an everyday cover; it's more of a traveling cover. The longer cover would be suited better for everyday use but since I got it, I'll keep it and use it.

No problems with the fit. We get very high winds in the winter, and so far have not had any super bad winds, but I've had good luck so far by simply placing a couple of vinyl tipped metal construction spring clips at apposing corners around the legs of the Performer. I can't see how it could blow off with the 2 clips in place. When I take it off to use the Performer, I simply fold it up loosely and put it in the fold out charcoal hamper with my bag of charcoal. Seems well made. No Problems. I recommend it.

Anyway, the duvet will best go on it about 2/3 of the perfect way due to the high of canopy being rounded. It has about 12in of loose duvet on the high and would not yet quilt the bottom door for the water/charcoal pans.
